Stopped by to celebrate Brent's 27th birthday. All the kids had a blast together, even when it started raining on them. It was fun to watch them all play. Reminds me of when we were all little and would play on our swing set. It's funny because they all got hurt the exact same ways we got hurt when we played.

On Friday family and friend's of the Silva family got together to celebrate Skyler's quinceañera! It was a lot of fun. The of Chambelanes did a traditional dance where the Chambelanes took turns and danced with the skyler to introduce her as the quinceañera. Then the damas, chambelanes and skyler did a hip hop dance. It was a good time. Sorry I didn't get all the footage. It was funny because Kyden was the very first one on the floor. He just clapped for a few minutes then started to get his boogie on. Then Marley joined in, and after the right music started up, pretty soon everyone was out there.

It's been so hot that we've let Kyden play in the little pool at his Grandpa's house. He loves it. You may see his little man's pee pee, so if anyone would get bothered, don't watch the pool video below. It's not a big deal, but some people are weird like that. He gets really tired playing all day. He fell asleep standing up against the chair the other day. He's a little punk, he is at a stage where he likes to jump on the beds and couches. He's seriously gonna get hurt because he doesn't listen.

Unfortunately, after such a short time, Mike and Kjera are having to let Auri Gato go. Kyden is just to rough with the kitty and we don't want Kyden or the Gato to get hurt. Here is one last picture of her. She loves to climb through our clothes and get to the top of the closet (probably so Kyden can't get to her!). Kyden is also in this weird phase where he isn't eating very much. He's so picky. Usually all he eats are bananas, yogurt, and Milk. Sometimes juice and water, but for some reason he knows if something is candy even if we've never ever given it to him before. Here's a pic of him eating flippin candy! I hate that he is eating it, but oh well.

The Miranda's have some news to report. There are new individuals that have joined the family. Mike, Kjera and Kyden welcomed a new Kitty Cat into their home. Her name is Auri Gato.....Get it? Arigato is japanese for "very much". Anyways...she is about 4 months old. She is very playful, but has some sharp claws. We may get her de-clawed. Kyden's favorite game to play with her is "Try to catch the Gato and throw stuff at her because it's funny". He's kind of a bully to the cat. Here is a picture.

And the biggest news as of late is the newest person to join the Miranda clan. Mark Anthony has moved in with the Miranda's! Mom and Dad are just going through the motions with the courts to make it official, but from what we've heard, things should work out just fine. Shaedon and him have this bond like you wouldn't believe. They just love each other and get along great. He's a sweet kid. Yesterday at the birthday party at Mirna's house, Me (Mike), Shaedon, Mark Anthony, and Dereck went around trying to get people to sit on whoopy cushions. We had a blast. Kjera, Me, and Dad were among the victims of this juvenile prank.
Other than that, there is no other news to report. Mike "graduated" from his last physical therapy session for his back and will try to return to full duty at work next sunday. Hopefully it works out. Here are some more pics below. Send some pics of you and your companions Manny!

Independence day for Mike, Kjera and Kyden was a quiet one, but still fun. We went to a parade that the neighborhood down the street does every year. We played with some horses, ate snow cones and enjoyed the heat! I Think it was 85 degrees that day, so it was a pretty nice day. Still kind of hot. The hottest it's gotten so far was during the week of the heat wave. It reached 102 or 104 degrees, I'm not sure, but we've been breaking record highs. That same week we went to visit Kyden's favorite place to go play. It's called Discovery at the gateway. After we played there, we took Kyden to play in the water fountain. He loved it.

The rest of the Miranda Family spent July 4th at a cabin. They called it "camping", but we all know that it wasn't really camping. If you can still get cell phone reception, and there aren't any mosquitos, then it's not really camping. I'll bet the cabin had air conditioning too. They did have a great time and everyone made it back home safely.

Paris was baptized July 6, 2013!!!!
Kyden is still doing his swimming lessons. He loves it and loves being taught by Cicily. Kjera is really busy with work and school, but on Fridays we try to make time to take him swimming at the West Valley Rec Center. We got a little case for the iPad so we can see him under water. Kyden always hates leaving the pool because its fun. Sometimes during the lesson he gets frustrated because he's either tired or just wants to go play with some kids. When we are waiting for the girls to get dressed, I take him to watch kids playing bball in the gym and he loves it! We may have a bball player in our family soon! Also, Kyden has been trying to figure out how to dress himself. It's really funny because sometimes he gets so mad that he screams and throws his clothes after giving up.
Also Manny, Unise wanted you to know that she loves you very much. Viv says she started school and she is always swamped with Homework. The other day Jaslenne helped her all day with it. I suggested that Jas should be able to ground her now and cut her allowance. She wasn't fond of the idea. Gabe says Alicia is two years old now. He sends this pic (down below). Oh yeah, Cux finally got a car. There is a pic below, too.
Father's Day 2013
So today, June 16, 2013, the Miranda's had a get-together with the Silvas, the Gonzalez/Pellecer family, Abuelita, and Gabe. We had yummy BBQ and some delicious Chocolate and Lemon Cake! Liam showed up to the party fashionably late because he was with his dad. Kyden was in his diaper most of the time because his dirty diaper was much more than just a dirty diaper. Let's just say it would've been cruel to make him wear those clothes the rest of the day. The Miranda kids chipped in to get Dad a new fishing pole, tackle box and a fillet knife that we hope he uses soon so we can eat some yummy fish. Oh, and Mom got dad a new cologne (our gift was cooler!).
